Ltd., an established player in the Indian biotech industry, recently announced its strategic tie-up with M/S Lallemand Incorporated of Canada, world leaders in bacteria and yeast production. Zytex held a technical seminar on, “Fine Winemaking & Techniques for Success” in Nashik with technical expert Gordon Specht from Lallemand, California, USA.


According to a company release, Zytex, formed in 1996, is a leading supplier of enzymes catering to the ethanol, food industry and industrial applications, and also in the manufacturing of nutraceuticals and biopolymer through fermentation technology.
The company has established its credentials as a provider of quality products, states the release. It has built a reputation for pushing the envelope in terms of ground-breaking R&D aimed at upgrading its quality and also adding new products for newer applications.

Lallemand Incorporated is a century old company with a presence in every continent and is the undisputed leader in Yeast and Bacteria production. Their products are indispensable for winemaking, baking, and Plant/Animal/Human nutrition industries.

“The coming together of the two companies in India will open up hitherto untapped market segments,” said Zytex MD, Rashesh Doshi “The alliance will be a huge step forward for both the entities and a boon for the industry,” he further added.
The wine seminar held at Taj Gateway, Nashik was supported by Nasik Valley Wine Producers Association and was attended by almost 50 winemakers from Nashik and all over India.
