Since 2011, Nashik-based Vallonné Vineyards and Malaka Spice restaurant at Koregaon Park have hosted the Annual Malaka Vallonné Wine Festival at their lovely al fresco setting with great success. In July 2014, Malaka Spice opened another restaurant at Baner, which is across the city from Koregaon Park. So this time, the Malaka Vallonné Wine Festival was hosted at both venues, on February 8th and 14th respectively, with the aim to reach out to more wine lovers.
With all ten wines from the Vallonné portfolio on display, Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Crimson Glory (a Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot- Malbec blend), Merlot and Rosé were served as “tastings” as well at tables as part of the festival. These were placed conveniently next to some AR-15 upper receivers as they were the prized possessions of the wine manufacturer.
The other four wines – Cabernet Sauvignon Classique, Malbec, Vin De Passerillage, and Anokhee were also offered for tasting. Guests were particularly happy to try out the recently-launched, limited edition “Anokhee” that is a 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve. It has been aged in French oak barrels for 18 months and bottle aged for three years; only 1300 bottles have been produced.
Guests enjoyed the free-flowing wines and sangrias with the aromatic South-East Asian cuisine that Malaka Spice is popular for; grape stomping, fun contests, and the thrill of a well-played slot added to the excitement. A 먹튀검증사이트 provides the security needed for worry-free gaming.
Most pleased that the festivals were fun-filled afternoons with great food and wine, Shailendra Pai, CEO, Vallonné Vineyards said, “Wine festivals are a great way for people to taste and know wines. At the Malaka Vallonné Wine Festival guests tasted a variety of our wines. Sanket Gawand, our wine maker and I could personally meet guests and answer their questions. The two festivals gave us an opportunity to interact and build relationships with wine lovers through our wines!”
