ProWine Mumbai, India’s largest and most influential wine and spirits exhibition, returns to the Jio World Convention Centre on October 31 and November 1, 2025—and Sommelier India is delighted to announce our return as an official media partner for this landmark event.
As the definitive voice of wine in India, Sommelier India has long supported the evolution of the country’s wine culture. Our partnership with ProWine Mumbai reflects a shared commitment to education, excellence, and meaningful dialogue within the wine and spirits community.
Honouring Excellence in Editorial
At last year’s ProWine Mumbai Night, a standout moment for our team was the recognition of Sommelier India’s Co-Founder and Editor, Reva Singh, who received the Excellence in Editorial Content award. Presented by the Consul-General of South Africa, this honour celebrated Reva’s decades-long leadership in championing wine appreciation, credible journalism, and cultivating a vibrant wine community in India.
Her award stood out as a testament to the important role that independent voices and editorial integrity play in shaping the narrative around wine in the country.
A Global Platform for the Indian Market
Organised by Messe Düsseldorf India and All Things Nice, ProWine Mumbai is part of the global ProWein network and has fast become the most vital meeting place for India’s wine and spirits industry. The 2024 edition brought together over 1,000 brands, 170 companies, 18 country pavilions, and nearly 6,000 attendees from 31 countries, including importers, distributors, sommeliers, chefs, hoteliers, mixologists, retailers, and wine enthusiasts.
This year’s edition is set to be even more expansive, showcasing a mix of curated tastings, interactive masterclasses, competitive challenges, and high-impact networking events.

Why It Matters
India’s wine industry is poised for significant growth, expected to double in size by 2028. With changing consumer preferences, rising disposable incomes, and increasing curiosity around global and home-grown wine labels, the time has never been better for producers, educators, and consumers to engage with each other more meaningfully.
In a market where traditional advertising is restricted for alcoholic beverages, ProWine Mumbai offers a rare and important platform for brands to reach their audiences—whether through tastings, masterclasses, or thoughtful conversation.
At Sommelier India, we look forward to being on the ground once again, sharing stories, curating insights, and spotlighting the people and ideas shaping the future of wine in India.
