If you’re looking for a classic Bordeaux beyond the famous classified growths, Château Lacoste Garzac is an excellent place to start. Produced in the Entre-Deux-Mers area of Bordeaux, this red blend showcases the region’s hallmark balance between fruit, structure and drinkability. Deep ruby in colour, it opens with aromas of blackcurrant, plum and a hint of cedar. The palate is medium-bodied, with ripe dark fruit supported by gentle tannins and subtle oak spice.
Imported by Rad Elan, this is a versatile wine for the Indian table. It works particularly well with lamb dishes, grilled meats and rich vegetarian preparations featuring mushrooms or aubergine.
The wine’s freshness prevents it from feeling heavy, while its savoury edge complements a wide range of flavours. Elegant, reliable and food- friendly, Château Lacoste Garzac demonstrates why Bordeaux remains a benchmark for balanced red wine. Serve at 16°C to18°C.
